October was quite the month as we had different venues for Sabbath worship with the outdoor worship and the joint evangelistic series of meetings at the Korean-American Cultural Center.
On 10/7, we had our annual outdoor worship at the Collins Hill Park with the message being delievered by our new KM Pastor, Pastor Bruce Lee.
Then, on 10/14, as a continuation of what had been going on throughout the week, we had our joint Sabbath worship at the Korean-American Cultural center.
For the first time in the history of Korean churches in Atlanta, over 600+ people gathered to worship together and celebrate the new souls that had committed their lives to Jesus and the everlasting gospel.
We also had a Joint EM Worship, where our praise team did an amazing job of leading us in praise & worship. Pastor Jonathan Motes (from Calhoun SDA Church) came and gave us the message.
Then, from 10/20 – 10/22 – our adventurers and pathfinders went on their annual campout to Buford Dam under the leadership of elder Ken Yim and the parents.
And we were able to wrap up an amazing with our monthly EM Families LifeGroup with many families joining us even though it was pouring outside.
We praise God for His continual leadership of our church and look forward to everything He has in store for us. Let us continue to pray for our nominating committee members who are gathering this week and next week to elect our board members for 2018.
And last but not least, we have an amazing news from Bangladesh Adventist Seminary & College (the school that we’re supporting) – as they held and celebrated the very first 1st Nightingale Service for the 1st batch of medical missionaries (nursing students) they are going to be sending out.
We’re overjoyed to see these young people dedicate themselves to a lifetime service to others as missionaries for Jesus. Let us continue to keep them in our prayers.
