On the last weekend of July – we held our first b-day party for the refugee children who celebrated their birthdays during the summer.  Over 50+ volunteers from our church came and joined the celebration.

Then, we launched into a new school year for the adventurers and pathfinders.

Then, we were able to co-host the 3rd North Korea Mission Forum with the other churches in the Atlanta area along with the guests from the Northern Asia-Pacific Division.

We also heard some amazing testimonies from our youth and young adults who were in different places of ministry all throughout the summer.

All the while at Clarkston, GA – our summer tutoring program transitioned to tutoring sessions on Friday afternoons from 4-6 pm.

And it was about this time that we hosted a special baby-shower for Jin and Sunyoung for their upcoming baby.

Then, we launched special ukelele lessons for the refugee kids under deacon Yong Un Kim’s leadership.

All the while, we continued with our responsibility to clean-up the road we’ve adopted from the Gwinett County.

Then, we welcomed our new EM associate pastor (Pastor Juan Martinez II) and the team from wildwood who conducted our first ever children’s health expo.

There are so many others events that have took place in this time period but this gives us a snapshot of where we have been for the past two months.  We continue to pray for God’s leading in this new chapter in our lives – as we’re moving forward with a new EM associate pastor and a new KM associate pastor (Pastor Bruce Lee).
